Netball Seasons for 2008

• We run 21 seasons a year
• We operate across 4 venues
• Late Applications are $50.00 more expensive per team so read the requirements carefully to avoid more costs
• There are requirements by law for our application proceedure so please accomodate our requests
• Grades of Mixed and Ladies teams play on every night at every venue
• We stop 2 weeks prior to Christmas and recommence 2 weeks into January each year for a Christmas break
• Each season contains 15 fixtured rounds and 3 rounds of Finals. There are some occasions when a season is adjusted to be either between 14 or 18 rounds. This will only occur, if a season is around the 4 week Christmas break. We avoid spliting Finals matches across this time and therefore shorten a season by a game or extend it by a few games.
• Any current team playing with a Melbourne Netball competition is required to apply again for any new season

NB: Melbourne Netball chooses the place of venue for all Monday night teams wanting venues at Richmond and South Yarra, as we need to accomodate accurate grading.

Game Times: 6.20 (Flagstaff Only) 7.00/7.40/8.20/9.00/9.40pm
Team Registration Insurance : $150.00 per season paid 7 days prior to first game
Game Cost each week :$55.00 online or $60.00 cash on the night
Weekly Cash Umpire Fees :$15.00
