Melbourne's number one destination for social netball since 1996. In this section you can find information about what we do for quick access. For more details please refer to the left sidebar for topics of interest. We have a part time administration team. You can obtain answers faster if you READ these details below to avoid waiting up to 3 days for an email response.
What we do and how we provide our netball services
Melbourne Netball Pty Ltd is a private company not to be confused with a netball association or business. We operate under PTY LTD requirements so netball clients may find some of our procedures more extrensive than other places that operate netball competitions. We provide an online netball service with applications and payments. We specialise in Mixed and Ladies adult netball competitions across inner Melbourne suburbs. All players must be 18 years old to take the court.
There are two areas of service that we provide in the Netball sport. We place established teams into their choice of venue and night of netball competition. We provide a unique service for 'Individual players' to join netball teams for competitions. We book netball umpires (who are sub-contractors) on behalf of our clients and provide them at each venue. We provide 30 netball competition seasons per year across 48 weeks. All our season information is supplied on line to each team.

Season Costs for Teams:
NB: North Melbourne has one additional stadium enterance fee per person each night of $2.00 a head.
Team Registration/Insurance Fee:
$200.00 per team paid 7 days prior to first game or increased if late
Late Team Registration/Insurance Fee:
$250.00 caters to a team that
applies less than 7 days prior to the season commencing and are placed
in rounds 1 (if season hasn't yet started) or Round 4
Game Cost each week :$55.00 online payments via our website or $60.00 cash on the night
Umpire Fee each week paid in cash only :$20.00 per game
Forfeit fees: Are incurred if games are cancelled $100.00 & $150.00
Additional Game Details:
Netball Ball & Bibs: All teams must own their own netball and set of bibs (try Rebel Sports)
Game Times: 40 minute. All teams must be available to play all time slots
Grades: Both Mixed and Ladies teams play every night at every venue
Re-grading: We assess across the first 3 games and refixture before round 4 and issue new fixtures in each season
Mixed Team Ratio: A Mixed team requires no less than 2 males and no more than 3 males on the court at any one time. Each male must cover one of the following positions to remain spread across all 3 thirds. One for GS/GA One for GK/GD One for WD/C/WA. Many teams have 4 males who alternate each quarter amongst themselves.

First Game Round: All teams are required to sign both a 'Waiver Form' and fill in their season 'Team Player Registration' sheet BEFORE taking the court. No insurance cover is active until this process is completed.
